How to Hang your Hammock

Find an area to suit your hammock, between 2 solid points like trees, fence posts, a wall of a house or garage. You need to consider that a hammock should have a gentle curve or dip approximately 50 - 70 centimetres above the ground. The space between your posts or hanging points should be between 25 cm and 40 cm shorter than your hammock's length (including any hook and rope lengths)

Your hanging points should be at least 2 to 3 metres above ground level, higher if you choose.
